Erin recently joined the Pentland Project as the Supply Chain Development Manager. Erin has a strong background in cost control, communications, political stakeholder management, procurement and supply chain within the offshore wind sector. Her role focuses on the maximisation of local content opportunities and identifying challenges and bottlenecks, managing complex processes through policy and procurement.

David is Head of Socio Economics at Nuclear Restoration Services (NRS), supporting sites across the UK, including Dounreay, to deliver value for money and positive community legacies. He began his career at Dounreay and Sellafield before spending 30 years in the oil and gas sector, working internationally in field, consultancy and senior roles. Returning home to Caithness in 2012, David joined Dounreay in 2022. He now sits on the Dounreay Leadership Team and Focus North Executive Board, chairs the Dounreay Joint Council and co-chairs the Focus North Industry Skills Forum.

As Project Manager, Janet Bromham co-ordinates the Partnership’s activities to restore peatland and manage The Flow Country World Heritage Site. A registered Scottish Charity, the FCP aims to reinvest profits from carbon sales to scale up peatland restoration and deliver community benefits. Janet has a BSc in Geography, MSc in Marine Resource Management, and over 30 years’ experience working in the environment sector. Previous career roles include Scottish Natural Heritage, the RSPB, the Cairngorms Partnership and Highland Council. 

Claire Wilson is Area Manager for Caithness & Sutherland at Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE), leading HIE’s work to support sustainable economic growth, community development and investment across the Caithness and Sutherland region. She leads a team that works closely with businesses, community organisations, public sector partners and elected representatives to help deliver opportunities that strengthen the local economy and build long-term resilience.

Ryan Maclean is the Manager & Executive Director of Scrabster Harbour Trust, one of the principal maritime gateways serving the North Highlands and Northern Isles. He leads the Trust’s commercial development and long-term strategy, with a particular focus on infrastructure investment, offshore wind and the energy transition, estate development and strengthening the harbour’s established fishing, ferry, cruise and marine sectors. Ryan works closely with industry, government, public agencies and regional partners to ensure investment at Scrabster supports sustainable economic growth, supply-chain development and long-term opportunities for communities across the North Highlands.

Bob is Chairman of Wick Harbour Authority. Prior to retirement, he was Area Manager for NHS Highland, responsible for Health and Social Care services in Caithness and Sutherland. Most of his professional career has been based in Caithness and he is keenly aware of the importance of driving economic growth in the area. He sees Wick Harbour as playing an important role in facilitating that growth.

David Swanson is Project Officer at Highland Council with responsibility for overseeing the Wick Public Service Obligation (PSO) contract, ensuring that the region continues to benefit from air services which boost regional connectivity, stimulate economic growth, and address key socioeconomic challenges facing the North Highlands. He previously worked with North Highland Chamber of Commerce, where he was heavily involved in the production of the original business case for PSO air services, as well as supporting the Chamber’s work on regional transport and infrastructure challenges through the Caithness Transport Forum.

Originally from Belfast, Dee started his career as a teacher of geography. Making the most of any situation and having the ability to turn challenges into opportunities is central to Dee’s character and message. Dee shared his message with students and parents locally, before starting his own speaking business in 2016. Dee now travels all over the UK and Europe working with schools, universities, businesses and corporate clients on how to unlock potential and improve performance.

Magnus Davidson is Socio Economics Manager at NRS Dounreay, responsible for managing Dounreay’s socio economic grant funding programme, social value in procurement, and wider socio economic activity for the delivery business. He has previously held positions at the University of the Highlands and Islands, Iceland’s University Centre of the Westfjords, and Community Land Scotland, and currently sits as a director of Flow Country Restoration Ltd.
